How we work
On each project, you work as part of a highly motivated, multidisciplinary team. Team members don’t just execute the project, they also contribute their vision. You generally work on several projects at the same time, so that you (continue to) broaden your knowledge base. Projects are supervised by a partner and executed by the project leader and the team. Depending on the task, a team can consist of one or more advisors. Together, you and your colleagues make a difference in health care!
What Plexus is looking for
Plexus employs people from all kinds of disciplines, from technical to business and from scientific to medical. As an advisor, you will have successfully completed at least one university qualification. You are analytical, solution-focused and creative. You enjoy advising and conducting research and don’t shy away from more practical tasks. You present yourself professionally, including listening attentively to the client, being able to assess situations accurately and at the same time communicating energy and enthusiasm. You are able to analyze and interpret (large quantities of) data/statistics. You are confident in the use of databases and spreadsheets. You also consider it a challenge to work on the interface between the public and private sector and are truly interested in the improvement and innovation of health care.

Working at Plexus means you have client contact almost immediately. You are constantly learning ‘on the job’ and from experienced advisors. Plexus has an extensive range of training programs to develop your knowledge and skills. This includes generic subjects (general advice skills, analytical thinking, presentation and writing techniques, database management) and specific health care topics (funding of the health care system, patient logistics, the Electronic Patient Dossier, legislation and regulation etc.).
Newcomers participate in an intensive introduction week. Each advisor is allocated a mentor who helps them to achieve their personal development plan. Twice a year, you discuss areas you need to develop and improve upon in an appraisal interview. You are in charge of following this up yourself – at Plexus, you take much of the responsibility for your own development.
